As you may recall, we reported on Mattel’s recall of thousands of toys made in China after discovering high levels of lead in the paint. Now according to this article on MSNBC it’s happening again! 16,000 toys recalled! I am starting to wonder whether these toy companies are taking the responsibility of quality testing imported products BEFORE allowing them to be shipped out to consumers and retail outlets? My mamma used to say an ounce of prevention beats a pound of regret. Where is the ownership? Where is the customer loyalty? Concern for the safety of children??? How do these products make it to store shelves or even into kids’ mouths before anyone knows something is wrong???  Wonder what Geoffrey thinks about that?!
