Ronco Rotisserie Oven Review
Ronco Rotisserie Review: A few years ago I saw a commercial for the Ronco Showtime Rotisserie Oven Platinum Edition and I’ve been using it to make slow-roasted rotisserie chicken almost weekly ever since. In our house we don’t eat any red meat, so finding new ways to cook turkey and chicken are always welcome. I’ve tried many different rotisserie recipes and all with great success. The Ronco Showtime Rotisserie Oven has cooked some of the best turkey, and chicken, whole ham, and rolled pork roast, I’ve ever eaten. I only use my regular oven for breads, desserts and pizza now. I’ve also used it for festival-style rotisserie turkey legs which turn out fantastic!
I don’t just “set it and forget it” though. I like to baste/brush my food while it’s cooking so it takes a little longer to cook since I open up the door on the rotisserie oven from time to time but it’s very well worth it. There is even a switch that allows you to stop the heat on the rotisserie and keeps food the turning while you baste it. It’s the easiest to use rotisserie oven I have ever used, and even easier to maintain. Clean up on this rotisserie is simple if the drip pan is lined with foil and the rest scrubs up well enough. Overall, I’d say the Ronco Showtime Rotisserie Oven Platinum Edition is great buy.

This was actually the best rotisserie chicken I’ve ever had. Mine has a digital timer on the side. I just added oil and seasoning and set it for 15 min per a pound. I did have to readjust the chicken because it hit on the back of the rod. FYI unplug first it shocked me when the leg of the checken was touching the burner in the back and then I touched the oiled chicken. I was looking to see if anyone else had been shocked through their chicken. The chicken is very juicy.
