Semi-Pro Basketball Movie Trailer, starring Will Ferrell
Will Ferrell’s at it again with another outstanding yet unbelievable character. Playing the part of the outlandish semi-professional basketball player, Jackie Moon, Will demonstrates his ability to put himself out there all in the name of comedy. Following the trail of Talladega Nights and Anchorman, Semi-Pro hits theaters this Friday (February 29th) and is expected to be an instant box office success.
Semi-Pro is a crazy comedy set in 1976 against the backdrop of the maverick ABA — a fast-paced, wild and crazy basketball league that rivaled the NBA and made a name for itself with publicity stunts like the three-point shot and slam dunk contest. Will Ferrell plays the part of a one-hit wonder who used the profits from the success of his chart-topping song “Love Me Sexy” to pay for his dream of owning a basketball team. But Moon’s franchise, the Flint Michigan Tropics, is the worst team in the league and in danger of going under when the ABA announces its plans to merge with the NBA. If they want to survive, Jackie and the Tropics must come out of their final season at the top of their game to become an official NBA team.

As a busy mom and entrepreneur, I am embarrassed to admit that my own health is usually the very last thing on my mind. I go and go and go until I reach the point of exhaustion. Then I pass out until I’m restored and start all over again. But after the recent holiday season filled with cold bugs, a poor diet and subsequent weight gain, I’ve come to realize that I can’t rely on the metabolism and immune system of my youth to keep me living healthy. I could no longer live on a grab-as-you-go diet that lacked nutrition and sustenance. I was confused about what vitamins I needed to take so I knew in order to get my body and mind back in line I would need some help with vitamin and supplement choices. Then a friend of mine directed me to the Dr. WeilVitamin Advisor program.
After taking a simple survey about my health, age, lifestyle, and diet, I was given a list of health concerns and asked to rank them by where they lie in my list of health priorities. I felt that the assessment the Vitamin Advisor survey made of my health was fairly accurate, and selected my ratings. Next I was greeted with Dr. Weil’s vitamin recommendations, sorted by the priority of my health concerns. What really impressed me was that for each vitamin recommendation, there was a description of what the vitamin was, and what affect it would have on my health. Who knew? Vitamin Advisor actually provides advice about vitamins! It’s not just a glorified sales pitch which was what I had first assumed. I had the option of selecting the vitamins and supplements from Dr. Weil’s list, using the descriptions provided, and customize my order to meet the health concerns I had. The price was reasonable, staying in line with the cost of over the counter vitamins at my local pharmacy, and the delivery time was short. I’ll leave it to medical journals to sell you on the benefits of a daily vitamin regimen but I have noticed in the few weeks since I started the program, I have felt more alert, more energetic, and certainly more healthy. Another perk to joining the Vitamin Advisor program was that I started browsing Dr. Weil’s website and found healthy recipes, advice about common medical questions, and even some new yoga poses.
